About Us... Healthy Investment is committed to providing ethical savings and investment products that perform.

You can find out all about Healthy Investment, our history and the products we provide.

Healthy Investment is the trading name of The Rechabite Friendly Society Limited, an incorporated friendly society (register no. 218f) and is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority. Financial Services Register no. 109994.

This website is intended for use by UK residents only and does not constitute advice. If you are in doubt about the suitability of a product you should seek independent financial advice.

The products explained on this website are only available direct from Healthy Investment. If you have a financial adviser ask them about our range of similar financial adviser products.

Whilst the industrial revolution of the late 1700s made Britain the workshop of the world it brought slums, poverty and ill-health to many of the north-west's factory workers.

By 1833, despite average wages rising to around 46 pence per week, the lack of any welfare state or health care provision exacerbated problems for those who needed it most.

From these appalling social conditions arose friendly societies, groups of individuals committed to supporting each other in times of sickness or death. Through small regular financial contributions, help could be offered to members in need.

The poor social conditions of the day were not helped by the availability of cheap, poor quality alcohol from the public houses in which many of these new friendly societies held their meetings and conducted their business.

More Information... Healthy Investment offers a range of ethical savings and investments products for children and adults.

You can find out more about them and how they can be of benefit to you and your family.

With the exception of our Child Trust Funds all our products are With-profits policies that give you an exposure

All our With-profits policies include important guarantees.

Child Trust Funds from Healthy Investment

Stakeholder Child Trust Fund
Our stakeholder Child Trust Fund meets all the government's criteria to qualify as a stakeholder Child Trust Fund. This does not mean that the investment is necessarily suitable for your child or that performance is guaranteed. You can find out more about Healthy Investment's stakeholder Child Trust Fund.

Ethical Child Trust Fund
Healthy Investment's Ethical Child Trust Fund avoids direct investments in alcohol, arms and tobacco industries and gambling and pornography providers. It is not a stakeholder fund and invests in a range of assets including stocks and shares, government and corporate bonds and bank deposits. Investment performance is not guaranteed.

Healthy Investment is a leading provider of Child Trust Funds. Our range of Stakeholder and Ethical Child Trust Funds provides your child with the growth potential of a stock market based investment. Please remember that, as with most stock market based investments, the value can fall as well as rise and that they may get back less than is invested for them

As from the 6th April 2015 the government are allowing parents the opportunity to transfer their child's Child Trust Fund into a Junior ISA. You can contact our office to discuss these changes in more detail.

Until the age of 16 the Registered Contact, usually the parent or guardian, can move the Child Trust Fund from one provider to another, from one type of account to another or to a Junior ISA.

When the child reaches the age of 16 they can transfer it themselves.
