Professional horse & carriage hire
The Horse Drawn Carriage Company provides professional horse & carriage hire across East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey and some parts of Kent & Hampshire. Picture trotting down a country lane, glass of bubbly in hand listening to the clip clop of hooves....a truly memorable experience and a real head turner for your big day!
Our beautiful, vintage Barouche carriage oozes charm and elegance or for a more rustic wedding theme our country wagonette with bunting and wild flowers brings a country classic feel. Our carriages are pulled by our matching pair of white wedding horses, Tommie and Charlie; being half brothers it is quite difficult to tell them apart!
We are qualified to the British Driving Society Level 4 commercial qualification; we also hold WATO certification (Welfare of animals in transport) and have in place £5 million public liability insurance.

""I just wanted to thank you & everybody for such a fantastic & perfect day that you arranged for us yesterday at such short notice. Everything was perfect in every respect from the time of arrival to our departure. Champagne was chilled to perfection. The horse's & carriage were immaculately turned out & the boy's were a delight on such a warm day.... A lovely drive in beautiful idyllic countryside, the goats were so cute & friendly, the girls loved petting & feeding them. As for the picnic & picnic area that was out of this world. Excellent local food & drink in such an enchanting setting. In all a perfect day in every respect.""
