Business Profile

Platelet Rich Plasma Rejuvination treatment AKA Vampire Facial Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy facial, also known as the 'Vampire facial/Facelift' is a cosmetic procedure which makes use of the clients own blood, which produces collagen growth underneath the skin.
It's a revolutionary repair system that places growth factors in the exact location where we want the skin to repair and rejuvenate itself.
Approx 15mls of blood is taken and spun in a centrifuge machine to obtain the plasma from the blood.
The advantages of having a Vampire facial are,
Reduction in fine lines and wrinkles
Tightens and tones skin
Increases collagen and creates volume
Improves the appearance of Crow's feet and dark under eye circles
Improves the appearance of acne scarring, Rosacea, enlarged pores.Gives the skin a healthy and rejuvenated glow
PRP therapy is predominantly used on the face, particularly around the eyes, mouth and nose although it may be used on the backs of the hands and all over the body, more commonly the décolletage to give a more youthful and radiant appearance.
A skin patch test is required at least 24 hours prior to a treatment, if you have not used emla cream before, which is a topical local anesthetic, which is used prior to treatment, to numb the skin.
Regarding aftercare and recovery, skin is red straight after the treatment and plasma is applied and left to dry like a facemask, so you wont be wanting to make any plans for the rest of the day following your treatment, this plasma is then washed off the following morning, where skin can still be slightly red.
There can be some markings to the skin the next day from the derma-roller and if you wish for injections to the under eye area this can cause some bruising, but it temporary.
Results can be best seen at 1 week onwards following treatment.
Three treatments are recommended once a month for 3 months and results should last 18 months approximately, more treatments are required for very scarred skin.
