Business Profile

Welcome to MJE Ethics I provide advice to managers, small business owners, service providers and community groups on day to day management issues. I can help you to focus your thinking so that you can make practical decisions for your business or organisation.

I encourage an ethical approach in all areas of your work or enterprise, as such an approach, as well as having a value in itself, enhances your reputation and can lead to greater success in whichever sphere you work.

I offer a flexible approach, from working with you on site, to a light touch approach where you can contact me as and when you would like my views on something, you choose.

About Me I have wide-ranging management experience gained through working in the public sector as an operational manager and change lead for the majority of my career. During that time I worked successfully with external partners, both public and private. I have dealt with a rapidly changing environment, and the development and delivery of services to support those changes. I have also dealt with a variety of day to day management challenges, including the delivery of demanding productivity targets and deadlines, work and staff reorganisations, and difficult personnel situations.

My Services Management and Staff relations. Management and staff behaviours set the tone for the business or organisation. Good and bad behaviours have a direct impact on performance and customer service, improving or reducing them. The reputation of the business depends on effective, well-motivated managers and staff, and a relationship built on mutual trust will lead to the business being successful. A fresh 'outside' view of how this relationship is working may be of benefit to you.

Work Organisation. I can work with you to identify opportunities for improving your business processes by examining how well they are assisting you to meet your targets, and how improvements can made if any are required.

Customer Service. I can work with you to see how improvements could be made if any weaknesses are identified in this area. This includes assistance to improve the spoken and written English language skills of your colleagues and employees by providing practical learning support on a one to one basis, or for small groups.
Business principles.

I can work with you to identify and develop the ethical principles that underpin your business or organisation. This is about honesty and integrity when dealing with customers, clients, colleagues, suppliers, and whoever else you come into contact with.
