Business Profile

Contact information for Pendle Borough Council

We are a local council serving people living in Pendle, spreading from Reedley and Brierfield in the west to Barnoldswick and Earby in the east.

We provide services ranging from refuse & recycling collections and street cleaning, to environmental health, planning and economic development. We also work with Lancashire County Council which provides some services in our area – such as highways management - as well as a range of partners.

Pendle has an interesting mix of urban and rural areas, overseen by the dramatic and imposing Pendle Hill. The borough has some of the North West's most beautiful unspoilt and picturesque countryside, set amongst some former textile mill towns. Pendle is made up of five towns: Nelson, Colne, Barnoldswick, Earby and Brierfield, plus many villages.
