Business Profile

A unique boating community in the heart of South Yorkshire The aims of the association are to promote an interest in canals and boats in general and provide inexpensive moorings in order to encourage future growth and development of the Sheffield and South Yorkshire Navigation.

With a strong community feel, a focus on off-grid services, and regular work parties and activities, mooring with us is a great opportunity for a new start.

We don't just offer over 500ft of secure leisure moorings, with all essentials available on-site, as well as a clubhouse and sun terrace overlooking the canal. We are a fun place for boaters and their families to enjoy the Sheffield and South Yorkshire Navigation.

There's plenty of freedom to work on your boat, space for your dog to exercise, and room for children to play away from the water's edge in a safe environment.

We're also a great base from which to explore the canal, with short day cruises to Sheffield's historic basin or the idyllic Sprotbrough, as well as easy access to Leeds, Castleford, Selby, Thorne, and Doncaster.
