Warning before you get trapped

I am writing to share my experience with e.wilson, trading as Goole Trade Carpets, and provide a review that will serve as a cautionary tale for other potential customers. During the initial consultation with e.wilson, I was requested to make a 100% upfront payment of £800 for the supply and fitting of a carpet for a single bedroom. Despite my reservations about paying in full before the work was completed, I trusted e.wilson based on their explanation of the process and materials involved. However, my trust was quickly shattered when, just a few hours after making the payment, I discovered that I had been grossly overcharged for the services provided. Taking immediate action, I validated the price and found a reputable alternative carpet installer who offered to supply and fit the same carpet for only £350.
